Happy BiddingForGood shoppers ring in the season!
At BiddingForGood, I am fortunate to receive letters from our generous shoppers. I call them my "Goodness In Action Consumers." With all the holiday shopping news and our recent shopping segment on Fox News, I thought I would share a letter from one of our 250,000 loyal BiddingForGood shoppers.
Soo Leong Liu from Sugar Land, TX is a consumer who knows how to shop guilt-free while she shops for a cause. This is her story:
"When my husband and I planned to take a fall road trip around Texas, the picturesque town of Gruene was on the agenda. BiddingForGood was an easy click on my search for great deals. I won two bids and saved approximately half of the cost of a meal and visit to a wine shop.
I’m thinking of visiting our son in New York. Searching the BiddingForGood site for New York deals gives me more options to see and do things.
BiddingForGood gives so many deserving non-profits the ability to easily access national exposure. I'm a member of the Texas Motion Picture Alliance and try to do my part in supporting the objectives of our group.
Primarily, TXMPA advocates bringing business to Texas by working for legislation to encourage media production: film, video, interactive and digital. The program has been phenomenally successful, so much so that the Legislature has doubled this year’s incentive to $20 million for next year! Former TXMPA President, Don Stokes, said it well: Since its inception in 2007, the Texas Moving Image Incentive Program has generated more than half a billion dollars and provided 61,830 jobs to Texans with a total economic impact in excess of a billion dollars.” That, my friend, will put food on the table for many, many families.
It’s the trickle-down effect. BiddingForGood employs people who are supporting their families while doing good for others; non-profits and schools are able to tell the whole wide world who they are and how auction monies are improving lives around the United States; donors reach a huge potential clientele base through your site and can write off any offers as donations or marketing expenses; people love a bargain and browsing your website brings up all sorts of interesting and creative offers. A wide range of prices gives everyone an opportunity to participate. Participating in BiddingForGood’s auctions is a win-win situation!"
Thanks Soo for sharing your story and we hope you enjoy that wine - happy shopping!
